Hello Fanterns,
Time for a shameless plug. I’ll be signing copies of Shark Wars 6: The Last Emprex (a middle grade book for ages 8-12) at the Penguin Group booth (#1028) on Sunday July 21st from 1:00-2:00pm. If you want other books in the series the Mysterious Galaxy booth (#1119) has the complete set, or if you have children, nephews or nieces with their own copies I will sign those, too. And Penguin will be tweeting away free Shark Wars shirts all day! Shameless plug over.
Now, to the Fantern business of this post: I see some of you are doing really great GL:TAS costumes for the con and I’d love it if you’d come over to the Penguin Booth while I’m there so I can get a photo. I will be bringing a special Green Lantern surprise for the first ones to do so. (If there are only 3 of you cosplaying Razer or Aya then all is well, otherwise, get there first) And of course if you want me to sign any Green Lantern stuff, I’ll do that, too.

Ive been a fan of your Shark Wars series for a long time, and I have to ask why did you pull the plug on it even though it said in the book Shark Wars The Last Emprex: THE END…FOR NOW?
Grayson, thanks for being a fan. I put that ending in thinking I might one day revisit the Shark Wars world, but the six books do encompass the story I set out to tell. If I ever write more Shark Wars, I will let people know through this website and my other social media. Hope this answers your question and keep reading! EJ

I am glad you enjoyed Shark Wars. Have you read all six books? It pretty much does solve everything. Maybe you’re talking about the last page jellyfish thing? If you were, Gray went in and talked both sides down so there was no fighting. So everything is A-okay in the Big Blue. After all the fighting, they deserve some peace and quiet, don’t you think?
